Andamans 2021

What should I call it? Heaven or Paradise?

As Corona crept in silence across India, April 2021, we ventured into the wild. One after another RT PCR tests, masks, face shields, cloaks but nothing could stop us from boarding the flight to Port Blair. As I broke down in stress several time, Kevin held my hand looked into my eyes and said all this would disappear just when you will look at the clear blue water in front of you.

17th April, early morning we reached Port Blair, sleepless and extremely tired. We had to get tested immediately on landing though we had negative reports of RT-PCR tests done within the past 24 hours. Our luck favored us not once but twice.

As we were reaching Neil Island, (my first time in Andaman), I looked out of a circular window on the ship and my heart pounded in excitement, is it paradise?
Kevin had spoken about Andaman for several days before we left, but it was more beautiful than what he had described.
Due to Pandemic, Andaman's tourism department suffered critically.
As crazy as it could be by the end of our two weeks on Andaman's Neil island we were the only tourists left. But our luck didn't favor us for long, soon there were new rumors about lockdown after final elections in India and we were kicked out by the local police. On 1st of May we had to return to Port Blair and board an immediate flight back home.

Blue Sky, Blue water, glistening Corals, Breezy quiet beaches, isolated corners, beauty in its full blossom when do I get to go back?
